Nancy Adams currently lives and works at the Sweetwater Ranch in Applegate, Oregon. She has been a clay artist for almost 40 years. She says that she is inspired by the natural world and many animals connection with it, which is why Nancy Y Adam's work is mainly of animals and their habitats. My work was inspired by it because I created a bee's habitat, a hive and the bee itself. She also mainly uses porcelain which I also used to further reference her style. The inside of the teapot mimics honey. I believe my teapot resembles my own personal style with the colors I used and how I made it on the wheel.
